Outfit: Belted tunics

By IVY PARNASIUS

Special to the Sentinel

Babydoll style dresses and oversized tops have been the focus of fashion for quite some time, but finally the tides of fashion are shifting and belted tunics and dresses are taking center stage.

This spring, the emphasis will be on accentuating the waist.

Long tunics and dresses will include a belt, making them more versatile for work and weekends.

To update what you already own, wear a long, skinny belt low on your hips around a loose tunic or button-down shirt.

For evening, wear a wide belt high on your hips over a sheath dress or even a fitted top.

Sexy and feminine, belted tunics and dresses make updating your wardrobe easy and fun.
