Palisade band is sweepstakes winner at festival
For the third year in a row, Palisade High School was the sweepstakes winner Saturday at the Colorado West Marching Band Festival in Grand Junction.
The competition, which began downtown with a parade before moving to Stocker Stadium where the band presented their field shows, brought bands and their color guards from all over the state.
