Palisade cops looking for suspect who fled

Jeffrey Nolen

Officers with the Palisade Police Department are seeking a man who fled while an officer attempted to arrest him on a warrant Monday night.

Jeffrey Allen Nolen, 31, was wanted on a $200 warrant for failure to comply with terms of probation for an original third-degree assault charge. Palisade officers were called to a noise complaint in the 200 block of W. Fourth Street at about 8:30 p.m. when they contacted Nolen.

Nolen resisted arrest, assaulted an officer and fled, according to the Palisade Police Department.

The police officer was not injured, however, when and if Nolen is located he will face additional charges of resisting arrest and assaulting an officer, the department said.

Nolen is a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with blue eyes.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Palisade Police Department at 464-5601.
