Palisade firm
receives honor
from governor

A Palisade company was recognized Friday by Gov. John Hickenlooper as the 500th company to sign on to the byColorado brand licensing program.

Mountainside Production Services owners Morgan Riddell and Tara Brosig were unable to accept a plaque from Hickenlooper during a meeting of Club 20 at Colorado Mesa University because they were in Vail setting up a stage for a ceremony honoring returning Olympians.

Tara’s mother, Marian, accepted the plaque from Hickenlooper, telling him that her duties also included watching the grandchildren.

According to the promotional program, byColorado companies can display the logo, which is aimed at identifying companies with Colorado ties, increasing the value of the state’s brand.
