Parade ushers in Fruita Hometown Christmas festivities

The Fruita Hometown Christmas Celebration features two days of festivities.

The Hometown Christmas Parade with the theme “A Christmas in Candyland,” will start at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18. There also will be downtown shopping available, according to http://www.fruita.org.

The Christmas Arts and Crafts Fair, a juried show and sale of original works, will be from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, and noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, at Fruita Brewing Co., 127 E. Aspen Ave.
