“Perfect traffic storm” at county building

Authorities are directing traffic into the Mesa County Central Services Building, 200 S, Spruce St., to prevent confusion as the second day of early voting, a busy day in the motor-vehicles office and one of the biggest days of the year for the food-distribution area, Mesa County Clerk Sheila Reiner said.

All in all, “It’s a perfect traffic storm” for the area of Main, First and Spruce streets, Reiner said.

Motorists are being asked about their destination and directed in some cases to park at the nearby Justice Center parking lot, so as to keep close-in spots open to people who need them, Reiner said.
