Police release video in debit card fraud case
The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office is hoping someone recognizes the man that appears in recently released surveillance video, who is a suspect alleged to have used a stolen credit/debit card to defraud a victim financially.
On June 2, 2010 the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office took an identity theft/forgery report. The victim reported losing his debit card and an unknown person found the card and used it at various locations in Fruita.
Investigators believe the surveillance video below shows the suspect in the case using the stolen card:
