Woman arrested at station

Grand Junction police arrested Rosalynn Charles, 31, on Thursday at the Greyhound bus station, 230 S. Fifth St.

Officers suspect Charles intended to distribute marijuana that was in her possession.

Would-be thief jailed

Grand Junction police arrested a man Saturday on suspicion of trying to steal a DVD player from Wal-Mart, 2545 Rimrock Ave.

Officers found Heath Leroy Wade, 35,  386 1/2 Weeping Will, in possession of burglary tools at the Wal-Mart and arrested him. He was booked into Mesa County Jail.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

An unknown woman is suspected of using another person’s identity at 446 Pear Lane, it was reported Saturday.

A person’s identity and financial information were used unlawfully, causing a loss of less than $1,000, it was reported Saturday.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested and released Saturday on suspicion of trespassing at Mesa Mall, 2424 U.S. Highway 6&50.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

Lucas Daniel, 23, was arrested and released early Sunday morning on suspicion of criminal mischief and disorderly conduct at 3114 D 1/2 Road.
