She was allegedly found in possession of more than one gram of methamphetamine and Vicodin pills, the Police Department said.
Fires burn barns, shed
Several outbuildings in the Fruita and northern Grand Junction areas burned in recent days, but it appears that there is no link between the fires, one official said.
On Saturday, firefighters with the Lower Valley Fire District responded to two barn fires in the Fruita area, but Chief Frank Cavaliere said neither was purposely started. Bales of hay and an overturned heat lamp were the cause of the two Fruita barn fires, Cavaliere said.
Two chickens and two pheasants died in the Saturday barn fire in the 1200 block of 22 Road, he added.
On Sunday, firefighers from the Grand Junction Fire Department responded to a shed fire at 2204 H Road.
