TV stolen from Wal-Mart
Crime Stoppers of Mesa County is looking for information about a man who stole a television from a Grand Junction Wal-Mart earlier this month and fled in a stolen vehicle.
Grand Junction police say the man entered Wal-Mart, 2881 North Ave., at 7:35 a.m. Feb. 6, grabbed a 40-inch Sanyo flat-screen TV valued at $686 and left without paying for it. The man then got into a vehicle and left.
The vehicle, a 1999 tan Ford Taurus with license plate number 130TDN, was reported stolen from the Grand Junction area on Jan. 21.
The man is described as white or Hispanic and between 27 and 32 years of age.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-STOP.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
David Keith Boyer, 26, and Alesha Ann Vaught, 29, both of 524 Melody Lane, were arrested Wednesdasy at 2966 Cedar Place on warrants on suspicion of second-degree burglary and theft of $1,000 to $20,000.
Casey Lyn Kent, 25, of Roosevelt, Utah, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of criminal impersonation, obstructing a peace officer, being a fugitive from another jurisdiction and failing to appear in court.
A 13-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of second-degree assault, criminal mischief, third-degree assault and interference with staff and students of an educational institution in connection with an incident at The Opportunity Center, 1129 Colorado Ave.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Brandy Mendenhall, 33, 10959 Mesa St., Mesa, was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of two counts of theft of more than $20,000. No other information about her arrest was available Thursday.
Lisa Michelle Cobb, 33, of Las Vegas was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of theft of $1,000 to $20,000.
Chastity Smith, 29, address unavailable, was issued a summons Wednesday on suspicion of theft of less than $500 after she allegedly shoplifted from City Market, 569 32 Road.
A woman living in the 3100 block of Alec Way reported Wednesday that someone broke out a vehicle window and stole a wallet.
