Criminal mischief alleged

A 19-year-old Grand Junction man was arrested Sunday after allegedly breaking fire extinguisher boxes and screaming about police at an apartment complex in the 2900 block of Orchard Avenue, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.

Johnathan Rizor, was arrested on suspicion of criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, underage possession of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia, the Sheriff’s Department said.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

A vandal caused damage Sunday estimated at $500 to a window in the front of a home in the 3000 block of Wedgewood Avenue.

A woman who allegedly was intoxicated and passed out Sunday afternoon in a neighbor’s yard in the 600 block of Jackson Street was contacted and booked into Mesa County Jail on two outstanding warrants.
