Man arrested on warrant in porn case

James Roy Graves IV, 26, 2408 Hidden Valley Drive, was arrested Tuesday on a warrant alleging he possessed sexually explicit material and that he trespassed on someone’s property, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.

Hunter loses handgun near Vega Lake

A handgun valued at $500 was reported missing near Vega Lake. A man told Mesa County Sheriff’s Department deputies Tuesday he dropped his Smith and Wesson silver handgun during hunting season along Forest Service Road 262 and wanted to report it missing.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

Martin Craig Burt, 54, 1600 North Ave. No. 137, was arrested Monday on suspicion of three counts of unlawful use of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance. On Tuesday, Mesa County Community Corrections arrested Burt on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.
