Assault on officer alleged
Ryan Anthony Hunt, 22, 333 U.S. Highway 6&50, No. 20, was arrested Friday afternoon on suspicion of second-degree assault of a police officer, and other offenses.
After responding to 18 Road and U.S. 6&50, officers found Hunt to be in violation of his bail on a felony charge, and he was in violation of the sex-offender registry, according to the Fruita Police Department. He is accused of those offenses, as well as resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer, the Police Department said.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
Brian Ball, 50, of Lakewood, was arrested in the 700 block of Horizon Drive on Friday morning on suspicion of first-degree sexual assault, sexual contact without consent and false imprisonment.
A residence in the 300 block of Taos Drive was reported broken into Thursday afternoon. Property damage is estimated in excess of $1,000.
Someone used a Grand Junction resident’s identifying information to open an account out of state, causing a loss of less than $500.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
Judith Anne Coolbaugh, 50, 40793 Colorado Highway 141 in Gateway, was arrested Friday night on suspicion of menacing.
William Efrain Jobin-Acosta, 21, 2658 Eagle Ridge Drive, was arrested Friday morning on suspicion of two counts of violating probation, plus other offenses.
