The Mesa County Sheriff’s Department took a report of an alleged sex offense Friday in the 400 block of Mountain Vista Drive.
A Clifton woman told deputies that her soon-to-be ex-husband refused to allow her to speak to her children unless she sends him nude photos of herself via his cell phone.
The woman said this had been going on for the past five months, and she wanted charges filed against him.
Deputies advised the matter was best handled in civil court.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
A thief stole another person’s identity and opened a charge account Oct. 14 at Sears in the Mesa Mall, charging less than $500 in goods and services to that account.
A thief took property valued at more than $1,000 from two unlocked vehicles parked in the 400 block of Larrys Meadow Drive on Friday.
An intruder entered a residence in the 1100 block of Texas Avenue on Friday, taking property worth less than $1,000.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
A thief stole items from a car Friday parked in the 3000 block of Hill Avenue, taking property worth about $100.
A thief took a lime green mountain bike Friday from a woman’s front porch in the 2000 block of Hodesha Way.
A thief removed about $110 worth of items from a parked car in the 3000 block of E Road on Friday.
