Teenage hitchhiker

Grand Junction police officers are asking the public to pass along any information about a local teenager who left home with the intention of hitchhiking to Texas.

Colten Tyler left home on Sept. 4 saying he was going to hitchhike to Texas where he has family. Tyler has not been heard from since.

Anyone with information about Tyler’s whereabouts should call Grand Junction’s non-emergency dispatch line at 242-6707.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

Daniel Charles Roberts, 26, 3058 Chickadee Court, was arrested Sunday on suspicion of first-degree trespassing of a dwelling, contempt of court and petty charges of marijuana possesion and paraphernalia possession.

Burton Dale Shoebridge Jr., 51, 2907 1/2 Sandra Ave., No. C, was arrested Monday on suspicion of third-degree assault, drug distribution, drug possession and a petty charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rusty Michael Largent, 22, 1404 Sandra Drive, was arrested Monday on suspicion of drug possession, criminal impersonation, tampering with evidence, obstruction of an officer, false reporting to authorities, and two warrants for failing to appear in court.

Four girls ages 13 and 14 received summonses on Sept. 17 for throwing eggs at a vehicle in the 700 block of Teller Avenue.

Thomas Stanley, 24, received a summons Sept. 18 after challenging several people to a fight at 265 Allyce Ave.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

Five tires were taken from a vehicle that had been parked for more than a year in the 3000 block of B 1/2 Road. The tires were valued at $900.

According to the Delta County Sheriff’s Department:

Three men from Los Angeles were arrested in Delta on Sept. 17 on suspicion of theft and drug possession.

Jorge Cazares Angulo, 28, was arrested on suspicion of theft and conspiracy to commit theft. Daniel Cazares Angulo, 35, was arrested on suspicion of theft and felony menacing. Eric Servin, 23, was arrested on suspicion of theft, drug possession and possession of drug paraphernalia.
