Burglary suspects jailed
Colton Dean Dunham, 18, 3362 E 1/4 Road, and Brandon Elias Cambron, 18, 2933 Whitney Lane, were arrested Friday morning on suspicion of second-degree burglary.
They are suspected of burglarizing a residence in the 500 block of North Mountain Oak Court, entering through an unlocked window and stealing property worth about $690, according to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department.
The two men ran from the scene and later were found and arrested.
According to the Grand Junction Police Department:
• A maroon 1991 Honda Accord was stolen Friday morning from in front of a residence on Aspen Street. The vehicle is valued at less than $500.
According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:
• Cody Edmond Guerrero, 26, 307 Acoma Drive, Apt. B, was arrested Friday night on suspicion of hit and run with injury, failing to report an accident, careless driving with injury, driving with a revoked license and not having proof of insurance.
• A thief broke into a storage unit in the 500 block of 31 1/2 Road and stole items valued at $4,070. The report was made Friday evening.
• Residents of the 200 block of Concord Lane requested extra patrol because of motorcycles allegedly racing on Unaweep Avenue between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m.
