Powderhorn season pass sale includes new offers at Aspen, Telluride, Steamboat

The aspen leaves are changing and so are the great deals at Powderhorn Mountain Resort.

This year Powderhorn is offering season pass holders new skiing and riding opportunities with three premier Colorado ski resorts: Aspen Skiing Company; Telluride Ski Resort and Steamboat Ski Resort.

“Our pass holders are dedicated, passionate skiers and riders,” said Powderhorn Resort general manager Daren Cole when announcing the new partnerships. “We are thrilled to offer three unique partnerships that allow our loyal guests to experience six major Colorado resorts, in addition to Powderhorn, featuring thousands of acres of winter fun.”

The announcement coincides with the resort’s fall season-pass sale, which runs through Nov. 15.

All partnership offers are available exclusively with the purchase of a non-transferable Powderhorn Mountain Resort season pass, Cole said.

The fall sale is the time when pass prices at their best point of the year, Cole said.

Powderhorn Mountain Resort adult full season passes start at $439.

The new partnership with Aspen includes the opportunity to purchase a four-day “Classic Pass” (adult $204, child/college $169) valid for skiing and riding at all four Aspen Ski Company resorts: Aspen, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk.

The Steamboat agreement provides Powderhorn season pass holders with the exclusive opportunity to purchase the “Steamboat 5 Pack” pass product for $149.

This nontransferable Steamboat add-on pass provides five unrestricted days of skiing and riding valid any day of the 2012-13 season at Steamboat.

The Telluride offer allows Powderhorn pass holders to purchase a three-day Telluride pass for $169 (days do not have to be consecutive) with a 20 percent discount off window rates on additional days.

Skiers and riders who complete the Powderhorn Learn to Ski and Ride beginner program are also eligible for discounts on their next set of lessons at Telluride.

Season passes can be purchased on-line through Powderhorn’s website http://www.powderhorn.com or at sales locations across the Western Slope and eastern Utah.
