Raffle offers free college tuition
How do you entice cash-strapped students to buy raffle tickets?
Give them a shot at something worth real value — like a free full-time semester of credit hours at Colorado Mesa University.
KMSA 91.3 is selling $5 raffle tickets as a way to raise money to help support the student-run alternative music station.
CMU President Tim Foster will draw one luck winner on Dec. 3 and award them a free semester on in-state tuition worth more than $4,000.
Tickets are available at the station, located on the second floor of the Student Center on campus. Also, tickets will be sold on Wednesdays and Thursdays at J.F. Strothman Distillery, or from any KMSA staff member.
Buyers must be 18-years-old to participate. More information is available at http://www.kmsa913.com.
