Rotman to perform at Monument View
Internationally renowned pianist Sam Rotman will perform at 10:45 a.m., Sunday, at Monument View Bible Church, 1173 17 1/2 Road in Fruita.
Rotman received his bachelor and master’s degrees at The Juilliard School and has performed around the world, winning five piano competitions both domestic and abroad.
Rotman has released four recordings and a video entitled, “Sam Rotman, Concert Pianist: The Music and Testimony of a Jew for Jesus.”
An offering will be taken.
Passover Seder at Ohr Shalom
The Reform Jewish Congregation Ohr Shalom will have its annual Passover Seder at 6 p.m. Tuesday followed by a Kosher-for-Passover dinner.
Those attending should take a Kosher-for-Passover salad, side dish or dessert to share. Consult with the Seder chairperson for assistance on which items are Kosher-for-Passover.
Member fees are $15 for adults and $10 for ages 10–25. Nonmember fees are $18 for adults and $10 for ages 10–25. Ages 9 and younger are free.
All Jewish backgrounds and interested others are welcome.
Holy Week, Easter at United Church
Congregational Church, United Church of Christ, 1425 N. Fifth St., invites the community to its Holy Week and Easter worship services.
The Maundy Thursday service is at 7 p.m. March 28; Good Friday Labyrinth Walk, indoor and outdoor is open noon–7 p.m.; and Easter Sunday worship service is at 10 a.m. March 31.

Choir to perform at American Lutheran
The California Lutheran University Choir, a 52-person concert choir from Thousand Oaks, Calif., will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at American Lutheran Church, 631 26 1/2 Road.
Two Good Friday services at the church feature “Jesus’ Seven Last Words” at noon Friday and three joined choirs, from American Lutheran, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran, and Crossroads United Methodist performing at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Unity Church to have Easter service
Unity Church, 3205 N. 12th St., will have its Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. March 31, featuring an Easter egg hunt for children, weather permitting.
The service topic, “The Resurrection Principle,” will include music by Unity singers and musicians, as well as a love dove release at 11:45 a.m. outdoors, at the front entrance, weather permitting.

Montrose United expanding services
Montrose United Methodist Church, 19 S. Park Ave., will expand its Sunday services to three, beginning Easter Sunday, March 31.
A “blended” worship (combination of traditional and contemporary styles) begins at 8:15 a.m.; a contemporary service at 9:45 a.m. features informal, creative and diverse worship with a Praise Team leading music; and the 11:15 a.m. service is a traditional worship service. Fellowship follows the 8:15 and 9:45 a.m. services.
Sunrise service at Suplizio Field
The Grand Valley Ministerial Alliance will have its annual Easter sunrise service at 7:15 a.m. Sunday, March 31, at Suplizio Field baseball stadium, at Lincoln Park.
Dress for the cool morning temperatures and take sunglasses or hat. In the event of inclement weather, services will be inside the Lincoln Park Barn.
