Ritter appoints Montrose native director of Natural Resources

DENVER — Gov. Bill Ritter has appointed Mike King as executive director of the Colorado Department of Natural Resources.

King, a Montrose native, has served as deputy director for the past four years.

He also was an assistant attorney general in the natural resources section of the Colorado Attorney General’s Office from 1993 to 1999.
