UPDATE: Highway reopened following rockslide
Colorado Highway 141 has reopened after a rockslide north of Nucla closed the road for a few hours this morning, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
Rocks came down on the highway around 9 a.m. near mile marker 70, which is between Uravan and Naturita.
CDOT spokeswoman Nancy Shanks said she didn’t have any information yet about the size of the rockslide. No injuries or damage to vehicles was reported.
