Salazar to visit Election Day
U.S. Rep. John Salazar, D-Colo., will fly into Grand Junction Tuesday morning for the first of three whistlestop visits across the 3rd Congressional District, which takes in most of the West Slope and much of southern Colorado.
Salazar, who is seeking his fourth term in Congress, will fly into West Star Aviation at Grand Junction Regional Airport at 8 a.m., then fly to Durango, Walsenburg and Pueblo to complete his Election Day barnstorming.
Today, Salazar is campaigning in Crested Butte, Gunnison and Alamosa.
Scott Tipton, his Republican opponent, is campaigning today in Grand Junction, with stops at West Star, Omni Hospital Services and Jerry’s Outdoor Sports.
