Let’s see….Administration and Board have a chance to save millions by closing an underutilized school and going to the 4 day school week.  Everybody has skin in the game?  We have community forums so the squeaky wheels can be heard and then a decision is based on fixing the squeaky wheel!  The community in general voted down the bond issue yet decisions are made that affect a few.  Pretty typical as in the past I would say.  Next we change an entire calendar that will not mesh with Colorado Mesa University so meaningless testing, that begins in February for elementary kids, can finish before spring break?  How about dropping the meaningless tests, save thousands of dollars and give back hundreds of hours of instruction time to kids?
