Shot reportedly fired in Orchard Mesa incident

An individual reported being shot at, but wasn’t hit, during a reported burglary Monday night on Orchard Mesa, according to the Grand Junction Police Department.

Officers were called around 9:36 p.m. to 2680 B 1/2 Road, unit 2L, on a report of several people illegally removing property from the apartment, police said in a news release. While enroute to the call, dispatchers aired a report of a single shot being fired.

The suspects reportedly fled the area by the time officers arrived.
