Broncos preseason game on MeTV
Thursday night’s Denver Broncos preseason opener, set for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff at Chicago, will be broadcast on MeTV, a new sister station of KKCO, the local NBC affiliate. For those with cable, MeTV is on Channel 109 on Bresnan, Channel 194 on Optimum. KKCO moved the game to accommodate the Olympics being shown on NBC.
For those with satellite dishes, MeTV is available over the air by taking your digital-ready TV off satellite and tuning to Channel 11.2 or 11-2. Viewers without cable or satellite who receive stations over the air via antenna or a digital converter box, can tune to Channel 11.2 or 11-2 to see the game.

Murray finishes 2nd in Lakewood
Jaclyn Murray shot rounds of 79 and 82 to finish second in the Colorado Junior Golf Association’s 11-13 Junior Series Championship at The Homestead Golf Course in Lakewood.
Murray, who plays out of Bookcliff Country Club, finished second in the girls division, two strokes behind Zarena Brown of Lake Arbor Ladies Golf Association.
Martin in 3rd at CWGA event
Melissa Martin shot a second-round 77 and is in third place of the Colorado Women’s Golf Association stroke play championship at Columbine Country Club.
Martin, playing out of Bookcliff Country Club, was two strokes off the lead entering the second round but dropped one stroke to leader Somin Lee of Denver. Kim Eaton of Greeley, a former champion of the now-defunct Elam BLT Classic in Grand Junction, is second after shooting the best round of the day, a 73. She’s at 150, one stroke ahead of Martin.
Jacqueline Sherman of Grand Junction is 11th at 159 in the championship/first flight. The final round of the tournament is today.
