Alexis Evoniuk, Central High School senior

GPA: 3.8

After-school activities: Basketball, soccer, boys soccer manager.

Favorite book: I’ve always loved “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Lemony Snicket, ever since I was little.

Favorite TV show: Any reality show.

Favorite band or musician: Nicki Minaj and Kenny Chesney.

Parents: LaMont Evoniuk, my dad.

Personal hero and why: My dad is my hero because he has been with me through the toughest times, and he has showed me that I can be happy again after the hard times. He has so much courage and kindness, and he would do anything for me.

Preferred college: I am still in the process of finding the college I want to go to.

Preferred career: Physical therapist.

Greatest achievement so far: Maintaining a high GPA while playing sports, participating in activities and being in honors classes.

What you’d like to be your next greatest achievement: Finding a college I want to go to, then most likely moving away and making it on my own.


Q: What has been your favorite high school class so far and why?

A: Anatomy and Physiology because I absolutely loved learning about the human body and how it works.

Q: What do you do for fun when you’re not in class?

A: I play sports and hang out with my friends a lot.


Q: What’s the best advice a teacher, coach or parent ever gave you?

A: Appreciate what you do have, because you know there is always someone out there who has it way worse.


Q: What will you miss about your school after graduation?

A: All the people I have met and all the great memories I have made.


Q: What would you like to do after college?

A: I would like to have a career as a physical therapist.


Q: If you could spend next summer anywhere in the world, where would you go?

A: I want to go so many places. So, either New Zealand, Hawaii or Mexico would be awesome.
