After-school activities: Work at Home Care of the Grand Valley and play practice.
Favorite book: “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Favorite show: “Arrested Development.”

Most played song on your iPod: “Red” by Daniel Merriweather.
Parents: Kyle Gustafson and Dayna Eaton.
Personal hero and why: It’s hard to choose one, but I have a huge family who are some really great and supportive people that I really look up to and respect.
Preferred college: Macaulay Honors College at City University of New York.
Preferred career: Foreign service officer.
Greatest achievement so far: I’m not sure ... probably just working hard and pushing toward my goals.
What you’d like to be your next greatest achievement: To be accepted into my school of choice.
Q: What has been your favorite class in high school and why?
A: I enjoy history because of its focus on foreign relations, and I like to look at the interactions which have taken place between great historical figures.
Q: How do you prepare for a big test?
A: Depending on how prepared I feel, I might take a look at the notes. I’m not much of a studier.
Q: If you could have your pick of service projects, who would you help and how?
A: I really enjoy working with Kids Voting and I think they are taking great steps to interest youth in civics. It’s a very important message that needs to be expressed.
Q: What does it say under “interests” on your Facebook page?
A: Snowboarding, acting and hanging out with my friends.
Q: What’s the best advice a teacher, coach or parent has ever given you?
A: To never count yourself out.
Q: Where would you like to be in 10 years?
A: Working at an exciting and interesting job where I have a chance to make an impact.
