Teenagers, library staffers team up to entertain kids with ‘The Polar Express’

Hop on board and listen to the Mesa County Libraries’ Reader’s Theater presentations of “The Polar Express.”

Based on the book, teens will perform “Polar Express” for children and their families at the library branches throughout December.

The first performance will be at noon Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Lincoln Park Barn during the Candy Cane Hunt.

Additional performances will be at the following dates, times and locations:

Saturday, Dec. 19, 2 p.m., Clifton Branch.

Tuesday, Dec. 22, 6:30 p.m., Central Library.

Monday, Dec. 28, 10 a.m., Orchard Mesa Branch.

Tuesday, Dec. 29, 10 a.m., Palisade Branch.

Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2 p.m., Central Library.

Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2 p.m., Central Library.
