■ Interstate 70 Business Reconstruction Phase 3: From 25 Road east to about 1,000 feet east of the Rimrock Avenue intersection.
Project involves full concrete reconstruction, the addition of a third lane in each direction and access and intersection improvements.
Two lanes in each direction will be kept open, short traffic stops may occur and will be kept to a minimum.
The speed limit in the project area will be reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph.
Left turns in the project area can be made only at the signalized intersections.
All business access will be maintained, but may be altered at times.
Some evening and weekend work will be done as necessary to expedite the project.

The first work involves removing the existing median and putting down temporary paving.
There will be lane shifts in the work area during the day time. Traffic will move to the outside edges of the road, but two lanes of traffic will be maintained in either direction.
Speed limits in the work zone will be reduced to 35 mph.
