■ 22 Road realignment project at U.S. Highway 6: Traffic along U.S. 6 between 22 Road and the Interstate 70 Exit 26 interchange will soon be shifted to the north side of the highway onto the new pavement. A few days prior to the traffic switch, message board signs will be posted to notify drivers of the exact date.
Traffic on U.S. Highway 6 near the I-70 Exit 26 interchange is narrowed to one lane in both directions. Access to businesses on Valley Court and 84 Lumber is located at the new 22 Road intersection with U.S. 6. The speed limit through the work zone has been reduced to 35 mph.
