Road closures and maintenance projects that may affect traffic this week:
City of Grand Junction Projects
■ 22 Road Realignment Project at U.S. Highway 6: Traffic on U.S. 6 between Valley Court and Sanford Drive has been narrowed to one lane in both directions and shifted to the north side of the highway; 22 Road north of U.S. 6 is closed until Nov. 1. Detour route is in place via 21 1/2 Road; Access to businesses on Valley Court and 84 Lumber is located at the new 22 Road intersection with U.S. 6.
■ Elm Drive between 28 1/2 Road and Elm Avenue: Elm Drive will be closed for sanitary sewer construction. Access for local residents will be provided.
■ G Road between 23 1/2 Road and 24 Road: G Road is closed for utility and street improvements. Detour route will be in place; business access will be provided from 23 Road only.
■ 23rd Street between Texas Avenue and Mesa Avenue: 23rd Street will be closed for sanitary sewer construction. Access for local residents will be provided. Detour route will be in place.
■ Epps Drive West of 29 Road: Epps Drive will be closed for street reconstruction. Access for local residents will be provided.
■ The southerly portion of West and East Parkview Drive north of B 1/2 Road: Both West and East Parkview Drive will be closed for waterline construction. Access for local residents will be provided.
Mesa County Projects
Subject to changing weather conditions and equipment failures.
■ Mesa County overlay program, shoulder work: EE.25 Road, or Powderhorn Road; Panorama Subdivision; Pitt, McFry, Montana, Lake, Mitchell, Galvin, Grant, and Dike roads; Lois Street; F.30 Road.
