Trucker survives train collision
Workers with Union Pacific inspect the remains of a tractor-trailer after it collided with a train at a crossing with Colorado Highway 133 Thursday morning. The train was pulling nearly 100 empty cars used to move coal from the mines east of Paonia, the truck was full with nearly 73,000 pounds of rock. At about 2 p.m. Thursday, workers began to split the trailer with a cutting torch to move the truck from the scene.
