Two men arrested for alleged meth use
Grand Junction police officers searching Friday for a suspect with an outstanding traffic warrant discovered two men using methamphetamine.
According to a recently filed affidavit, when officers visited a home in the 1200 block of Kennedy Avenue looking for Adam Lee Hilton, 22, 3215 F Road, they observed him and one other man, Joshua James Wilson, 25, using and handling meth.
After observing the suspected drug use through a window, one of the officers knocked on the house’s front door. The suspects attempted to hide their drugs, both meth and marijuana.
Hilton allowed the officers to search the home, where they found Wilson and drugs that later tested positive as meth.
Hilton and Wilson were booked into Mesa County Jail later that day.
