Vectra Bank will present economic forecast event Wednesday in webcast
Local businesses and consumers for the first time will be able to participate in a Colorado bank’s annual economic forecast breakfast this week.
Vectra Bank Colorado will stream the event online from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at vectrabank.com. The breakfast, in its 19th year, will address trends driving the Denver, Colorado, U.S. and global economies in 2012.
Online participants, who are encouraged to ask questions via the webcast, will hear from Mark Snead, economist and vice president of the Denver branch of the Federal Reserve Bank in Kansas City; Patricia Silverstein, president of Development Research Partners, a Colorado-based real estate analysis and economic development research company; and George Feiger, an investment expert and chief executive officer of San Francisco-based Contango Capital Advisors.
“We are fortunate to have such a wide breadth of expertise at Vectra’s economic forecast breakfast this year to speak around the most important economic indicators and factors for our clients’ financial success in 2012,” Vectra Bank President and CEO Bruce Alexander said in a statement. “More than just discussing the factors that will impact our economic recovery in 2012, each of our speakers will provide a broader and deeper perspective that also includes challenges, bright spots and unknowns to consider this year.”
