Woman enters plea in massage parlor case

A woman accused of running a prostitution business at a former Grand Junction massage parlor will receive probation in exchange for pleading guilty to charges of pimping and tax evasion.

Nan O’Reilly, 60, pleaded guilty to the felony charges in court Tuesday. Mesa County District Court Judge Valerie Robison will rule on the terms of probation during O’Reilly’s sentencing April 22.

O’Reilly was arrested in 2008 following a nearly yearlong investigation by the Grand Junction Police Department. Officers alleged she was running an illicit business out of Fuji Oriental Massage, 762 Horizon Drive.

O’Reilly has a previous conviction for prostitution, Robison said in court Tuesday.

O’Reilly must also give a “full and honest elocution” or speak to the court during sentencing, according to terms of the plea agreement.
