• Drilling corporations are spending millions on political ads touting their pass-through of the proposed tax subsidy elimination cost increase to consumers. Other highly profitable businesses that have alternative competitors will often absorb increased costs in order to keep their customers. The only way to counter the greed and pseudo-monopolies of the fossil-fuel corporations is to promote major competition from bio-fuels, solar and wind energy producers.

• Way to go, Palisade High School. You are teaching that there are consequences to actions. It is hard to believe that someone out there is teaching that if you don’t do the right thing, you lose privileges.  I sure hope the parents back you up and in fact, start doing something like it at home. It is about time.
