When family was visiting from North Carolina, Priscilla Stedman took them to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park. “I’d never been there before, awesome!!!” Stedman wrote.

The First Presbyterian Church Concert Choir and Music at First Ringers directed by John Howard joined church musicians from across the United States in June for the “Ring Sing and Celebrate” concert tour of Germany in honor of the 500th anniversary of the Reformation (1517–2017) this June, wrote Ron Bladow with this photo. The choir and bell ensemble, along with pianist Gloria Carey and organist Martha Sandford Heyns, gave performances in Erfurt, Eisleben, Leipzig and Berlin, Bladow wrote. Phyllis Christiansen recently celebrated her 100th birthday at Mesa View Independent Living. The people who organized the party offer “very heartfelt thanks for Gina and Jackie and all the others at Mesa View, who helped make this day unforgettable.” The Rimrock Walmart donated the cake. The Musical Instrument Museum in Phoenix, Arizona, “is chock full exhibits with beautiful and unusual instruments from many countries. A great way to spend a hot afternoon in Phoenix!” wrote Donna and Steve Fullerton, shown in front of the museum.
