Personal hero and why: My sister. She has always been a fearless pioneer, forging ahead with life and sharing all of her significant experiences and advice with me afterwards. I admire her confidence.
Preferred colleges: Colorado School of Mines, University of Colorado at Boulder, or Rice University.
Preferred career: Mechanical engineer or biomedical engineer.
Greatest achievement so far: Going to Florida for Academic Team Nationals.
What you’d like to be your next greatest achievement: Making it into a prestigious college.

Q: What have been your favorite classes in high school and why?
A: Any of the classes I have had with Mrs. Thompson. She is an absolutely incredible teacher who has challenged me and expanded my abilities more than anyone else I know.
Q: How do you prepare for a big test?
A: My friends and I always study together, quizzing each other at Traders Coffee.
Q: If you could have your pick of service projects, who would you help and how?
A: I would love to volunteer at a hospital to help the elderly. They have amazing experiences and life stories that I would love to hear about while doing whatever I could to assist them.

A: Academic team, reading, painting and volleyball
Q: What’s the best advice a teacher, coach or parent has ever given you?
A: “Don’t be afraid of taking risks.” Some of the best experiences I have ever had occurred when I was willing to put myself out there.
Q: Where would you like to be in 10 years?
A: I would love to have graduated from a respected college and be embarking on a career in engineering or law; possibly starting a family.
