Suspect wanted elsewhere

Jerimie Michael Wilkins, 25, 662 Pleasant Court, was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of being wanted out of Summit County after officers with the Grand Junction Police Department contacted him in the 700 block of Horizon Drive.

Wilkins was booked into Mesa County Jail.

Man suspected of meth

Kevin Clay Smith, 27, was arrested Saturday night on suspicion of methamphetamine possession after deputies with the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department contacted him near the intersection of 32 and E roads.

According to Sheriff’s Department reports, Smith also had $100,000 worth of warrants out for his arrest.

He was booked into Mesa County Jail on Sunday.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department:

• Lanita K. McKay, 48, 2945 Erika Road, was arrested Saturday afternoon on suspicion of felony menacing after officers contacted her at her home. She was booked into Mesa County Jail.

• Randall Rook, 54, was issued a summons Friday afternoon on suspicion of assault after officers contacted him in the 700 block of Horizon Drive.

According to the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department:

• Don W. Martin, 21, was issued a summons Saturday morning on suspicion of illegal weapon possession after deputies contacted him near the intersection of 29 and C 1/2 roads.

• Alfred Lavaugh Turner, 43, 624 25 1/2 Road, No. 27, was arrested Sunday morning on suspicion of robbery after deputies contacted him in the 2900 block of North Avenue. He was booked into Mesa County Jail.
