• Monroe “Bud” D. Zartman, 87, of Clifton, died Nov. 2, 2009, at his home. Private services will be Sunday.

Mr. Zartman was a retired lieutenant colonel with the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria; two sons, Jamie of Grand Junction and David of Clifton; three daughters, Katherine of Clifton, Susan Thurston of Rulison and Linda Pierce of Clifton; one brother, William Zartman of Duxbury, Mass.; and nine grandchildren.
