A western female screech owl is perched for view at the Mesa County Fair Grandstand lobby where visitors can see a variety of demonstration exhibits. The owl was injured after hitting a car and will never fly again. an educational wildlife program, Natures Educators, is showing a variety of raptors in hopes of raising money for a new center.
