The Land’s End Hill Climb race started back in 1941. The record time set by Paul Dallenbach in 1994 still holds. Saturday and Sunday drivers were joined by motorcycle riders on the 5 1/4 miles track for the first time. Spectators picked their spot along the hillside to get a glimpse of the racers as they spun around the hairpin turns with sheer drop-offs along the track. JR Cline won the motorcycle stint in 6:07 seconds and Spencer Steele had the fastest recorded speed of 100 mph in the open-wheel class.
