Hundreds turn out to back GJ Chick-fil-A in support of traditional marriage.
A line several hundred people long winds through the inside of Chick-fil-A, along the outside of the building and around the back during an “appreciation day” in response to backlash against the restaurant chain’s CEO since he voiced his opposition to gay marriage.
Cars line the drive through lane and the line of hundreds stretches from the inside of the building to the back at lunchtime on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.
Lunch patrons head for the line at Chick-Fil-A while cars wait dozens deep to go through the drive through.

A couple cross the street with their lunch in a gap between cars waiting to go through the restaurant’s drive through. The line of cars stretch clear to Highway 6 & 50 on Chick-Fil-A Appreciation Day.

Grand Junction police were called in to direct traffic after the line of cars waiting to go through the Chick-fil-A drive-through backed up onto Highway 6 & 50.
