RSSAir Force Academy cadet jailed in sex case
AIR FORCE ACADEMY — An Air Force Academy cadet has been jailed while investigators check out new allegations of sexual misconduct.
Academy officials said Tuesday that Jamil Cooks has been taken to the Teller County Detention Center to ensure he is not a threat to himself or others.
Cooks is already facing charges of attempted sodomy, aggravated sexual assault and aggravated sexual contact.No details have been released on the new allegations.
Cooks has not responded publicly to the allegations and a hearing is scheduled Dec. 18.
