Did you catch the report that air pollution from oil and gas along the front range is between 300% and 700% higher than the State of Colorado regulators estimated?  http://www.denverpost.com/environment/ci_25719742/scientists-flying-over-colorado-oil-boom-find-worse

Heck…overpopulation is the root of all our problems. More people need more energy, fuel food, healthcare, etc. Also the greater the population, the greater the number of low-information voters and paranoia spreaders, as well as physical disease spreaders etc. Maybe these non-vaccinators are doing mankind a favor by population control in a roundabout way.

Most everyone remembers the high school lesson of how to become a millionaire with just a penny. Take a penny one day and double it to 2 cents on day two. Take the two cents and double it to 4 cents on day 3, double that to 8 cents on day 4 etc. etc. Its called the law of exponential growth. Well with 7-8 billion people on planet earth, Eventually exponential population growth will occur and mankind will collapse anyway.

I read the article in the link listed above and it raised some questions in my mind.

Methane gas is a natural byproduct of almost all decomposition. Our local dump has installed a methane recovery system. Since Weld county and other northern Colorado oilfields are in heavy farm and ranchland, did the study allow for bio-matter decomposition methane to be counted separately from wellsite emmisions? Do they even have a baseline of naturally occurring methane without including wellsite levels?

We will never have a zero amount of methane discharge to the atmosphere as long as biological organisms live, die and decompose.
