Cochran was arrested on suspicion of distribution of a controlled substance after prescription pills and drug distribution materials allegedly were found in his motel room.
Carnahan and Drake were arrested Thursday on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance after officers allegedly saw Carnahan drive away from Cochran’s motel room with Drake inside the vehicle.

When Drake opened the glove box to find insurance or registration, an officer saw “in plain view” several hypodermic needles and a bent spoon with “a large amount of white residue on it,” according to Drake’s arrest affidavit.
The vehicle and each person were searched.
