•  Andrea Haitz was the top closer at Heiden Homes and Associates for November. Bob Colony was the top listing agent.

•  Barb Bowman, division manager of the Grand Junction Visitor and Convention Bureau, received the National Tour Association Volunteer of the Year award at the annual convention in Pittsburgh. Bowman was nominated for her unselfish work and enthusiasm.

•  Black Bear Diner will donate 10 percent of its proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation Dec. 10. Customers can also purchase donation cards that directly benefit the foundation.
