Henson to speak to Unitarians

• Rev. Zakir Lawrence Henson will be the guest speaker Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Grand Valley, 1022 Grand Ave.
The sermon title is “Evolution Sunday.”

Lenten Bible study slated

• First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 1326 N. First St. will begin Lenten Bible study at 6 p.m. Feb. 11, continuing through Easter, in the church library.
“Come to the Cross” follows the lectionary Bible readings for each Sunday of Lent. Books are $7 and can be purchased by calling the church office at 242-7204.

Juggler performance planned

• St. Paul Lutheran Church, at the corner of Seventh Street and Horizon Drive, will present a free program by a professional juggler, at 3 p.m. Feb. 15.
“Serious Humor” includes comedy and music and is suitable for the whole family.
Light refreshments will follow the program.
