Special Thanksgiving to be Tuesday

• The Grand Valley Interfaith Network will have a special Thanksgiving service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Congregation Ohr Shalom, 441 Kennedy Ave.
The program will include songs and prayers representing a variety of ethnic groups and religions. The collection plate will be given to the Catholic Outreach Soup Kitchen and the new Emergency Shelter program sponsored by Homeward Bound and the Grand Valley Peace and Justice.
A canned goods item donation is suggested. For information, call 243-0136.

Pre-Thanksgiving meal offered Sunday

• Redlands United Methodist Church, 527 Village Way, will have a pre-Thanksgiving meal at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, . The event is free and open to the public.
The church will sponsor a Good Sense budget class from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 6. The Rev. Gary Haddock will teach biblical financial principles.
Cost is $20 and registration is required. For information, call 245-1478. 

Christian Science service to be Thursday

• The Grand Junction Christian Science Church will have a service and testimony at 10 a.m. Thanksgiving Day . The service is open to the public.
Copies of the readings are available at the Christian Science Reading Room 113 N. Sixth St.

‘Bethlehem Revisited’ to be Dec. 19-21

• Northeast Christian Church will have “Bethlehem Revisited” from 6 to 9 p.m. Dec. 19-21. For information, call 243-6672.
