GJ, Denver bands to be in metal show at Mesa Theater

Metalheads prepare to gather at Mesa Theater and Club for another metal show.

This show will feature Grand Junction bands Exussum and Confirm Kill with Scalafrea from Denver. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, at the club, 538 Main St.

Described on its MySpace page as “brutal Colorado death metal” Exussum says its motivation “was to make dark and heavy death metal with no soft parts or weakness, 110 percent aggression!”

The MySpace includes several highly aggressive tracks, perfect for practicing your head-banging moves.

Admission is $8 for the all-ages show.
